The Dark Arts of Innovation

Dark Arts of Innovation panel discussion

Scotland has been responsible for significant inventions in science, engineering and medicine. But how can we ensure that Scots continue to be world leading innovators?

What are the key requirements to engender an innovation culture and how can this be nurtured, encouraged and successfully exploited in academic and commercial environments?  Mark Stephen chaired a panel debate as part of Edinburgh International Science Festival with W.L Gore and Associates, Heriot Watt University and Moredun Research Institute to discuss different innovation approaches and outcomes along with a Q and A with the audience.
