Biography
John is an Upland Primary Sheep and Beef Suckler producer. Farming in partnership with my wife. I have been farming at home full-time since completing qualifications at Greenmount Agricultural College.
Currently has 45 West Of Ireland Limousin and Angus bred cows going to Charolais bull, going through to beef and a Shorthorn Bull producing a few replacements/ young bull beef and a flock of 650 ewes, made up of Mules and Easycares, producing fat, store and ewe lambs for sale.
Is active within the Ulster Farmers Union. Currently Chair of the Animal Health and Welfare Committee, post Chair of Hill Farming Committee and committee member on the Environment Committee.
