The beautiful Livestock Keepers coffee table book is a result of a Talking Science project undertaken by Lee Innes and Beth Wells from Moredun. Travelling to remote, rural areas of Scotland, they visited farm businesses that had livestock as central to their work with the people involved showing remarkable energy and enthusiasm for diversification and playing a key role in supporting rural populations and economies.
With a foreword from HRH The Princess Royal and stunning images by Scottish photographer Kevin McCollum, the book is a celebration of livestock and the people that keep them in remote rural areas of Scotland. Designed by Moredun’s Hazel Simm, the images and text, taken directly from conversations with the Livestock Keepers, depict the strong bond between farmers and their animals.
The proceeds from sales of the book are to go to support the charitable work of the Moredun Foundation and RSABI to provide support for farmers and the health and welfare of their livestock.
