The Moredun Foundation is a registered charity that supports livestock health and welfare through research and education.
Formed by farmers for farmers, the Foundation supports a broad range of research projects within the world renowned Moredun Research Institute to help improve the understanding, treatment and prevention of infectious disease.
The Moredun Foundation develops and delivers a variety of outreach programmes for farmers, vets, SQPs, students and the general public. These educational projects ensure that the research outputs, knowledge and expertise generated at Moredun are disseminated as widely as possible to boost awareness and management of a range of livestock health issues.

Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid offers a simple way to increase the value of your gift to The Moredun Foundation by allowing us to reclaim the tax on your donations and membership subscriptions provided you pay UK income or capital gains tax.
Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, The Moredun Foundation receives an extra 25 pence from the Inland Revenue, helping your donations and membership subscriptions go further.
If you sign up to Gift Aid, The Moredun Foundation can also reclaim tax on any donations or membership subscriptions you may have made over the last four years.
