Two further cases of bluetongue virus BTV3 in sheep have been identified near Norwich, Norfolk and a further infected sheep has been detected near Lowestoft, East Suffolk.
To contain the spread of disease, the existing TCZ has been extended to include more of Norfolk and East Suffolk. Keepers of cattle, sheep, camelids and other ruminants must remain vigilant and follow the restrictions on susceptible animal and germinal product movements that apply in the zone.
