THE PARK

Pentlands Science Park is located eight miles to the south of Edinburgh City Centre and benefits from great transport links. The Park is located within the Midlothian Science Zone and also the Business Environments for Science and Technology Network. The park is located next to We Are Pioneer Group Technopole Science Park, and in close proximity to Edinburgh University’s Easter Bush Campus.

The Park is home to Moredun Research Institute and Moredun Scientific Ltd along with a number of other world class occupiers (please refer to Park Tenants section of the internet).

The Park benefits from 24/7 on site security as well as access control systems for all buildings.

We currently have the following units available on site:

Doherty Building

The Doherty Building provides high quality office and lab accommodation over ground and first floor. The building was built in 1996 and is of pavilion design. It has a large double height atrium, toilet and kitchen facilities on ground and first floor levels as well as a passenger lift.

Accommodation currently available:

• Room 9 – This space is currently fitted out as 4 cellular offices and is located on the first floor. Individual rooms can be rented out.
• Room 18– This space is currently fitted out as open-plan offices located on the first floor. The space extends to 750 sq ft (69.67 sq m). This space can be converted into a lab and or office accommodation. It will be available from January 2024.

Glencorse Building

The Glencorse building is located at the rear of the site and is a two-story building with lab and office space at ground floor level with a large plant room located on the first floor of the building. The building was built in 1999.

Accommodation currently available:

• None at this time.

Douglas House

Douglas House building was one of the first buildings to be built on the site, completing in 1996. It is located at the front of the site and is a two-storey pavilion building.

Accommodation currently available:

• Ground floor suite (3,240 sqf) combing office and laboratory space.
