Biography

Anne is a dairy farmer’s daughter from the Falkirk area, educated at the Glasgow High School for Girls and then Glasgow University Veterinary School where she graduated BVMS, with Distinction Surgery, 2nd class certificate of merit Medicine, July 1976.

After graduating, she was employed as house physician/intern 1976-1980 in the Large Animal Medicine department at Glasgow Vet School, thereafter employment followed in general practice in East Central Scotland, specialising in farm and equine work. Anne retains a close link with Glasgow Vet School and has been involved with the Admissions Interview Panel for several years, as the practitioner participant.

Anne has been a Director of RHAAS for 11 years with specific interest in the equestrian sector and throughout this time has been Chief Steward Show jumping. She serves on the Finance, Partnership and Risk Management, and Health and Safety Committees.

For some 15 years, Mrs Logan has been a member of the British Horse Society Central Area Committee, with a special interest in Welfare and Education. Mrs Logan is the present Chair of the Scottish Branch Council of British Show jumping and is Chair of The Moredun Foundation Equine Grass Sickness Committee.
