Campbell Tweed graduated with an HND in Agriculture from Auchincruive then farmed in partnership at Ballycoose with 350 suckler cows and 1,950 hill and upland ewes including 2 performance recorded flocks.
Campbell has served on numerous committees including the UK Hill Farming Advisory Committee, BBC NI Agricultural Advisory Committee, NI NSA Committee, NSA Policy and Technical Committee, NI National Trust Advisory Committee, Ministerial TB Stakeholder Group and the UFU Hill Farming and Environment Committees. He has served as Chair of NSA, the Historic Monuments Council NI and the Maternal Sheep Group. He has been President of the Northern Ireland Institute of Agricultural Science, International Chair of NFST, President of the Ulster Grassland Society and President of the Ulster Farmers Union. He has also served on the Harper Adams University Board and was Chair of their Audit and Risk Management Committee. He is currently NI Director of the NFSCo (National Fallen Stock Company). Campbell was awarded an OBE in 2003 for contribution to the environment and agriculture.
Campbell is also Chair of the Moredun Northern Ireland Regional Advisors Committee
