Job Role
As the Head of Business Development at the Moredun Group, Charlotte is responsible for growing the Animal health and Aquaculture businesses at Moredun Scientific through strategic account management and marketing. She also provides significant support to the company’s business during conferences and trade events. In addition to her role at Moredun Scientific Charlotte also works with the scientists at the Moredun Research Institute to identify any Intellectual Property and commercial potential in their research, facilitate routes to market and support any spin out companies.
Biography
Charlotte’s academic journey includes a BSc in Zoology at the University of Edinburgh, an MSc in Science Communication at the University of Bath, and a PhD in Quantitative Genetics of Sport Horses at the Roslin Institute. More recently she has been working in the commercial side of science, developing an extensive network of contacts across the animal health and life sciences industries.
