Biography

I was born in Babol, Iran in 1987 and completed my PhD in Aquaculture at Sari Agricultural and Natural Resources University. In 2023, I moved to the UK to begin my postdoctoral fellowship.

Current Research

I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow working on the development of a recombinant vaccine against Aeromonas veronii for European sea bass. My research focuses on improving fish health through innovative vaccination strategies. In addition to vaccine development, I am interested in creating rapid diagnostic tools such as lateral flow test kits and biosensors for early detection of fish pathogens. I am also keen to explore fish nutrition and the production of antimicrobial proteins to enhance disease resistance in aquaculture.
