Biography

I graduated from SRUC in 2020 with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Animal Science (awarded by the University of Glasgow). My dissertation was ‘An Investigation into the Anthelmintic Effects of Chicory on Parasite Motility using RTCA’. I then went on to study an MSc in Aquatic Pathobiology at the University of Stirling in 2021, my dissertation was looking at the importance of aquaculture in antibiotic resistance national action plans in the top 20 aquaculture producing countries.

I started my role as a Research Assistant at the Moredun Research Institute at the end of 2021 working within the parasitology department.

  • Impact of improved swards and rotational grazing on lamb productivity and wormer use (RESAS)
  • Understanding climate change impacts in an Arctic ecosystem: Svalbard Reindeer
