Biography

Kath is an experienced farm vet from the Scottish Borders, bringing extensive practical knowledge of livestock health and welfare. Alongside her veterinary career, she is an active farmer, managing a mixed beef and sheep enterprise with her husband and son near Lauder.

Kath has also held several senior governance roles within the veterinary and agricultural sectors. She is a former President of the Sheep Veterinary Society, contributing to policy discussions and wider industry engagement.

She is also currently Ordinary Director of RHASS, representing the Borders, and sits as the RHASS representative.
