Before you submit
Eligibility criteria
Samples that do not meet the criteria below may not produce a usable result. Please check each point before sampling.
- Lambs must have been weaned for at least 4 weeks before sampling.
- Lambs should ideally not have been treated with any wormer in the 4 weeks prior to sampling, and should have been on dirty (naturally contaminated) pasture throughout that period. A minimum of 2 weeks since worming, with the same dirty-pasture exposure, is also acceptable.
- Animals should not currently be on a long-acting or persistent wormer product.
- A consistent grazing history for the group is required, recorded in the form below.

Package your sample as advised and label each tube with the matching animal identifier.

- Collect into a red-top tube per animal
- Leak-proof primary container per sample
- Leak-proof secondary packaging
- Individually wrap or separate multiple tubes to prevent contact
- Absorbent material between primary and secondary packaging
- Rigid outer packaging
- Clearly label each tube with the matching animal ID
Packaging: saliva
- Collect into a blue-top tube per animal
- Leak-proof primary container per sample
- Leak-proof secondary packaging
- Individually wrap or separate multiple tubes to prevent contact
- Absorbent material between primary and secondary packaging
- Rigid outer packaging
- Clearly label each tube with the matching animal ID
