Eilidh Geddes has been named a winner at Lantra Scotland’s Awards for Land-based and Aquaculture Skills (the ALBAS), which took place at Crieff Hydro Hotel on Thursday 6 March 2025.
Lantra Scotland, a charity dedicated to increasing the number and diversity of employees in the land-based, aquaculture, and environmental conservation sector, hosts the ALBAS to celebrate the achievements of learners and highlight the importance of skills development for employers.
Eilidh’s outstanding achievement in her field has been recognised among a talented group of finalists spanning industry categories including animal care, aquaculture, equine, environmental conservation, fisheries management, game and wildlife, horticulture, land-based engineering, vet nursing, and trees and timber.
Finalists for ALBAS 2025 were selected by an independent judging panel made up of influential figures from across the sector, chaired by Rebecca Dawes, Agri and Rural Communicator with JCM&Co, a Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth Trustee and a member of the Farmstrong Scotland Committee.
A huge congratulations to Eilidh on this well-deserved recognition!
