OPTICK is a large multi-institution Defra-UKRI funded project focused on understanding and mitigating the changing burdens and impacts of tick-borne diseases in UK farmland. It runs from 2023-2026.
We invite you to take part in a survey as part of the OPTICK project. In the survey, we will ask your perceptions about ticks and tick-borne disease management on farms. There are no right or wrong answers, we are interested in your views whatever they are.
Participation in the study is voluntary and you have the right to decline the invitation or withdraw from the study at any time. All personal information collected about you, or responses that you provide during the course of the study will be completely anonymous. The results will be used for research purposes only. All data will be secured in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law requirements as it applies in the UK.
We are opening survey access for a 6-month duration starting today and will close early July 2024. While they are open for this duration, we will be conducting intermittent analysis on emerging data for our research deliverables and per Work Package needs. Initial findings will also be shared with you as available.
