Biography
Dafydd was brought up on a mixed farm on the outskirts of Caernarfon before moving to a beef and sheep farm in Anglesey, North Wales, where he farms 1200 ewes and 85 suckler cows. Dafydd gained a Diploma in Agriculture from Aberystwyth in 1976.
He is currently Chairman of North Wales TB Eradication Board, Director of Welsh Lamb and Beef Producers Ltd, Vice Chairman of NFU Cymru Livestock Board, Member of the B.O.D Subgroup for Animal Health and Welfare Board Wales, Trustee of the Mid Gwynedd NFU Cymru and a Fellow of the Royal Agricultural Societies (FRAgS).
