Biography
Jane qualified as a Veterinary Nurse and worked in many small animal practices, charities & hospitals for 15 years, this included a staff nurse position at RVC vet school, teaching vet students during practical rotations in the first-opinion hospital.
Worked for over 16 year at Norbrook Labs Ltd as a Sales Manager. She worked her way up to manage the veterinary and trade sales team and sat on the GB leadership team. Collaborated many times with Moredun, primarily in parasitology-focused meetings with Philip Skuce and Dave Bartley as KOL’s. This collaboration was very important for keeping up to date with disease and treatment advancements, especially regarding fluke, during a trying time for livestock owners.
Currently working as Business Development Manager at MerlinVet Group, primarily responsible for the buying group – we have around 350 member practices covering mixed species across the UK. My team and keeps up to date with veterinary and farming issues affecting our members. Main role is to negotiate terms with suppliers, so has good contacts within many commercial organisations.
