Biography
Kathy comes from a farming family and is very much hands on with the breeding of cattle and sheep.
She began her working career in beef research before moving to the commercial advisory side of the industry. Following on from this she was ten years in the post of Livestock Development Manager at Quality Meat Scotland where she was actively involved with a number of farm animal disease and welfare projects both at UK and European level.
Since stepping back from full time work she has been a Vice Chair of NSA (Scotland) and is a Trustee of the Scottish SPCA.
