Biography

Iain qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, in 2000 and is currently a Veterinary Consultant for Zoetis UK Ltd.

He previously worked as a Veterinary Investigation Officer with SRUC Veterinary Services (St Boswells, Scottish Borders) and, before that, worked at Galedin Vets in Coldstream, becoming lead clinical director for farm animals.

He was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Anaesthesia in July 2003.  His clinical focus covers all aspects of suckler cow herd management, a high caseload of bull fertility examinations, routine dairy fertility, and flock health planning.  He teaches the BCVA Bull Breeding Soundness Examination courses and has served on VetPartners’ Farm Animal Executive Committee, the Scottish Government’s BVD Advisory Committee, and acted as a farm animal external examiner at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies.
