Biography
Kate is a fifth generation sheep and suckler cow farmer from a hill and upland farm near Peebles.
Kate trained at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh and then worked in mixed practice in County Durham for 8 years.
Kate was a QMS monitor farmer from 2012 to 2015 and now sits on the QMS board. She has completed the Scottish Enterprise Rural Leadership Programme (SERLP), is a Past President of Peebleshire Agricultural Society, volunteers with RHET, a life member of RHASS and a member of NFUS and NSA.
