Cultivating Gastrointestinal Organoids

At The Moredun Research Institute, we have been developing species and tissue-specific organoids representative of various tissue types for large, farmed animals. We are now using these organoids to model host-pathogens interactions in the lab. In this video, we will demonstrate a simple method for the cultivation of gastrointestinal organoids in the lab from tissue containing primary stem cells.
