SCOPS launches 2020 Technical Manual update

Following an expert review and comprehensive update, the new 2020 on-line version of the SCOPS Internal Parasite Technical Manual for Vets and Advisers went live on Monday 28th September.

The new format allows access to all sections using a navigation tree, including links to additional documents. This means that users can access the information they need quickly and easily and when sections are updated they will be flagged, enabling users to keep abreast of developments in SCOPS science and practice.

Kevin Harrison, Chair of SCOPS, says:

“We are really excited to be able to launch this updated version of the Technical Manual in an online format. It is really easy to find the information you need and will be much easier to keep up to date in the future”

Stephen Dawson, Secretary General, AMTRA comments:

“The updated SCOPS Technical Manual is a big step forward, the new structure and presentation makes it very accessible for RAMAs and others involved in advice on internal parasite control in sheep. I am confident it will see a great deal of use.”

Phil Stocker, Chief Executive, NSA agrees with this sentiment:

“This new format is also invaluable for sheep farmers as well as advisers. I encourage everyone to use this excellent resource”.

The manual can be found on the SCOPS website.
