Biography
Bridget qualified as a vet from the R(D)SVS, Edinburgh in 1984. After travelling to Botswana on a veterinary research project, a year working back at the Dick Vet in large animal medicine and further travels to New Zealand, she finally settled down in a large mixed practice in Macclesfield, Cheshire, where she has been a partner since 2001.
Her day to day work involves dairy cows, beef cattle and sheep and her particular interests are in disease prevention, health planning, farmer training and knowledge transfer.
As well as being a member of the main Moredun Foundation Board, Bridget is also the Chairman of the Moredun Foundation’s North of England Regional Board.
