Biography
Charlie was born and raised on a farm in Galloway and has worked in agriculture for over 40 years.
He is passionate about optimising the health and welfare of livestock, particularly cattle, and about using animals’ behaviour and external appearance as indicators of their physical condition. Charlie has always believed in sustainable farming and, where feasible, self-sufficiency.
He currently works for Smaxtec, a company that uses technology to encourage and embrace good animal husbandry and herd health
