Biography
Donald qualified from Glasgow Veterinary University in 1979 and worked full time in rural mixed practices for the next 40 years starting in East Sussex then Settle and Malton in North Yorkshire before returning to Scotland to Moray.
My work was mainly with suckler herds, sheep and horses and I maintain an interest in all these area’s despite retiring just before the coronavirus pandemic.
My main interest is in the long form sustainability of livestock farming and to ensure that it is done well, can have a positive effect on the environment and biodiversity.
