Edward Adamson
Job Title:
Regional Advisor - Northern Ireland
Biography
I farm in partnership with my son Stewart at Kilroot near Carrickfergus on the shores of Belfast Lough. We farm predominantly sheep (a mixture of commercial and pedigree) and some suckler cows.
We have pedigree Clun Forest, Ile de France, Lleyn and Dutch spotted sheep breeds and introduced a small number of Swifters from Netherlands last year.
I have been involved with the National Sheep Association for many years and have been NI Regional Manager for over 25 years.
I am on many sheep related Committees both locally and at the UK level. I am currently Chairman of the Lleyn Society Breed Development Committee and National Chairman of Dutch Spotted sheep Society.
