Biography

Emily is a private practitioner veterinary surgeon working in practice in the South West of England. Although doing some dairy and beef work, she is a European Recognised Specialist in Small Ruminant Health management and an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Sheep Health and Production.  Her specialist interests include neonatal lamb mortality, flock health planning and farmer engagement, integrating EID technology onto sheep farms, farming training and sustainable use of medicines.

She is a member of the Sheep Veterinary Society, British Cattle Veterinary Association, the Register of Sheep Advisors (as a member and steering group member), the Goat Veterinary Society and a member of the XL Vets Woolpack group and a committee member of the National Sheep Association – South West region.

Emily also has a 500 ewe commercial flock at home including performance recorded Poll Dorsets, Hebrideans and a suckler herd of Stabiliser cattle
