Biography
James runs a small farm in Mid Wales with my wife Gwawr and our 5 children. We currently have around 250 sheep and up until a few years ago we also kept a few suckler cows. My main interest is producing pedigree breeding stock through our Texel and Bluefaced Leicester flocks.
From 2015 until February 2026, I worked for Hybu Cig Cymru and regularly attended regional Moredun meetings as part of that employment. Now no longer with Hybu Cig Cymru I am starting a new role with Aberystwyth University collecting data for the farm business survey. I will be visiting farms all over Wales across the beef, sheep and dairy industries.
