Biography
Tim spent 12 years as an itinerant farm worker in a variety of farming systems from a very small family farms in Poland to sheep units in New Zealand and large dairies in USA before entering his current life as a grazier and sheep breeder.
He is a director of SIG/Exlana (Sheep Improved Genetics Ltd) a breeding company specialising in low input hair sheep breeds and has been involved in performance recording sheep since the early 90’s and has been a member of SHAWG (Sheep Health & Welfare Group).
Interested in encouraging higher sheep welfare standards, better farmer understanding of disease risks & costs.
